The COURMAYEUR TRAILERS and the VALLE D'AOSTA TRAILERS are amateur sports association founded with the goal of disseminating, promoting and organizing open air, non-motorized, sports activities.
The associations are fundamentally committed to promoting a sporting and environmental culture that integrates people with nature.
They are non-profit organization and the income from the association’s activities are all re-invested in sports activities.
They organizes several different regular events:
Gran Trail Valdigne - Valle del Monte Bianco: the first ultra trail route entirely within Italy, 87 km with 5100 m of climb or 47 km with 3100 m of climb;
The North Face Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc: they are co-organizer, with the Trailers du Mont Blanc, a French association, of these two very important and increasingly successful races. (www.ultratrailmb.com)
Arrancabirra: a light-hearted competition covering 19 km with 1400 m climb that takes place the first Saturday in October in Courmayeur (www.arrancabirra.it)
Winter Eco Trail: winter running race that takes place the second Saturday in December in the Val Ferret (www.winterecotrail.it)
