First stretcht: from Morgex to Pré Saint Didier

stretch length Km 5 - distance covered 5 km - drop +100

Start in the center from the Piazza dell'Assunzione (church) at 10 am. Go toward the football center, cross the railroad and pass next to the great curtain. Now we are on the right of the river Dora Baltea where the first part of the race starts. A flat trail on the side of the river leads in the area of the commune of Pré Saint Didier. Reach the town crossing the little bridge on the river of Verney. Check point and water stand.

Second stretch: from Pré Saint Didier to Arpy

stretch length Km 6 - distance covered 11 km - drop +631

The first slope starts with a steep stretch in the wood; watch out just before the little village of Molliex, where the path becomes very exposed. The race continues on a side road, first trough Parimont, then trough the old mines,  to get on the road to the Colle San Carlo that in 500 meters takes to the houses of Arpy. Check point and water stand.

Third stretch: from Arpy to Colle Croce

Once out of the village follow the cross country ski run until the end of the plateau and take the track on the left to the lake of Arpy.  On the right side of the lake continue on the path to the Colle Croce. Check point.

Fourth stretch: to Colle Croce from la Thuile

stretch length Km 5 - dstance covered 23 km - Drop -940

Down on a long slope first on a path to Plan Praz, then on a side road and again on a path through the woods. Once at the village of Bouic and crossed the road to Colle San Carlo, the race continues to the town centre of La Thuile. Check point and refreshment stand. Time Limits 4:00 pm

Fifth stretch: from La Thuile to Colle dell'Arp

strecht length Km 10 - distance covered 33 km - Drop +1130

Once out of the own cross the river and take the path that crosses the slope. Warning! Pay attention t the cross of two colanders! Follow the road till the houses of Arp Desot. Keep up on a path and catch again a side road that takes to the cabins of Youlaz. Check point and water stand. Here begins the valley of Youlaz that takes to the Colle dell'Arp, on the right. The last part of the track is not very visible, so watch out for signals! Check point.

Sixth stretch: from Colle dell'Arp to Courmayeur

stretch length Km 10 - distance covered 43 km - drop -1347

The track continues in the valley of Arp till a side road alternating slopes and descents. Once reached the first cabins follows the path through the fields till you the indication for the path to Courmayeur. The race is still long, but once you cross a little bridge and you enter the village of Dolonne. Follow the route for the telecabine and go down the Forum Sport Center. Check point and refreshment stand. Time Limits 9:00 pm

Seventh stratch: from Courmayeur to col licony

Distanza km. 8,00 – Prog. 51 – Dislivello +1446

After the Forum Sport Center follow the route for Courmayeur Center (church). Beginning of the second slope following the road to the villages of Villair, Plan Gorret and Ermitage. Path for Mont Cormet/Colle Licony and right after the timberline turn left to the Colle Licony. Once at the trough beneath the pass go to the top following the steep and technical trail. You're entering the area of the commune Morgex. Check point.

Eighth stretch: from Colle Licony to Planaval

stretch length Km 10 - distance covered 61 km - drop -1001+81

From the pass down to the lake, then to the cabins of Licony to get on the path to the Colle Battaglione Aosta to reach Piginière fro where, after a short slope, you get to Planaval. Check point and refreshment stand. Time Limits 3:30 am

Nineth stretch: from Planaval to Col du Bard

stretch length Km 15 - distance covered 76 km - drop +873 -447

From the refreshment stand you follow the road to the Grand Eau creek. Take the path to the Bonalex village. Above the houses you get on the road to Colle Serena. Once at the cabins of Rantin, take a path hat takes to the valley of Les Ors, and start the hike to the Colle Fetita. A few meters before the pass a path begins on the right. Crossing a steep side of the mountain, it takes to a little hill from where, trough some rocks, you can get to the Fetita peak. Check point. From the peak, you reach the underlying lawns and the path to Col du Bard.

Tenth stretch: from Col du Bard to Morgex

stretch length Km 11 - distance covered 87 km - drop -1226

From Col du Bard you take a different path to the left that goes down in to the woods and reaches the village of Charvaz. Check point and water stand. Keep going down following the road that takes to the village of Echarlod and, within a few minutes, to the town centre of La Salle. Check point. Crossing the town centre continue until the village La Clusaz in order to take the "Tsanta Merla" path which, passing above the vineyards, take to the village Villair. Take the road to Morgex which cross the highway of Mont Blanc through an underpass and brings to the town's central square. FINISH!

NB. THE ENTIRE TRAIL WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE TRAIL OFFICERS WHATEVER HAPPENS.
